Nintendo Today! began distributing The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask card pack on October 4, 2026. It is the second Zelda set in the app, with a new card each day, a limited quiz and medals that can also recover missed items.
What landed in Nintendo Today!
Nintendo Today! is Nintendo’s free phone app. Anyone with a Nintendo Account can use it. Inside, the Legend of Zelda Collection Cards deliver one card a day with characters, items and other series motifs.
The Majora’s Mask pack replaces the recent card track and features Termina, the world where Link has three days to stop the moon from falling. When the day’s card arrives, the user can take a quiz. Nintendo says the answer counts only that day and only once. A correct answer earns medals to trade for missed cards and wallpapers.
Medals are shared across packs. They can also be used on cards from the first set, Breath of the Wild. A Majora’s Mask wallpaper arrived with the pack in Nintendo Today!.
What changes in practice
This is not paid game content and not a Majora’s Mask expansion. It is a daily phone collectible, separate from Nintendo Switch Online. The original Nintendo 64 game remains available on NINTENDO 64 Nintendo Classics for subscribers of the plan with the expansion pack.
Besides the cards, Nintendo added Majora’s Mask icon parts to the Platinum Points gifts on Nintendo Switch Online. Redemption stays open until October 23, 2026, at 9:59 a.m. Japan time, and requires playing the title on N64 Nintendo Classics. The icons work on Switch and Switch 2 through the service app.
The 40th-anniversary context
The pack is part of the Legend of Zelda 40th-anniversary push announced in the September 8 Direct. The Majora’s Mask soundtrack, already covered by Geekiki, reaches Nintendo Music on October 9 for Nintendo Switch Online members: Majora’s Mask on Nintendo Music. The source for this card collection is Nintendo of Japan’s official topic: Nintendo Topics.
