Telltale Games announced on October 16, 2026 that the Nintendo Switch version of The Wolf Among Us Remastered will not launch on October 29 as originally planned. The studio said it needs additional time to deliver the experience Nintendo players deserve. Versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) remain on the original schedule.
In the statement posted on X, the team explained that bringing The Wolf Among Us Remastered to Nintendo Switch for the first time is an exciting moment and that they do not take it lightly. They are taking extra time to ensure quality. The Switch version will follow at a later date, which will be announced as soon as it is set.
The remaster includes visual improvements, a black-and-white Noir Mode and extra content. It marks the debut of the 2013-2014 classic on the Nintendo platform. Telltale also confirmed that the game will come to GOG later, but not at the simultaneous launch of the other platforms.
There is still no new date for the Switch version. Fans of the platform will have to wait for the official announcement.
