NVIDIA PAIR RTX Spark: distributed local AI and game support from EA and Ubisoft

NVIDIA PAIR RTX Spark represents NVIDIA's advance in local AI. PAIR (Personal AI Router) distributes AI inference across idle home PCs, while the RTX Spark platform arrives with support for games from major publishers and local agent tools.

What happened?

At IFA 2026 and subsequent updates, NVIDIA launched PAIR, an open-source tool that discovers compatible PCs on the local network and routes inference requests (via Ollama or LM Studio) to those with free capacity. It supports RTX 20-series and newer, DGX Spark and M4+ Macs. Meanwhile, RTX Spark (Windows on Arm with Blackwell GPU and up to 128 GB unified memory) gained support from EA, Ubisoft and Embark for titles like Apex Legends, F1 25, Anno 117 and ARC Raiders, plus native EA anti-cheat.

Why does this matter?

Many homes have several powerful PCs that sit idle. PAIR turns that power into a personal AI cluster without extra hardware, speeding up agents and local models. RTX Spark combines local AI, creation and high-performance gaming in a compact form, expanding the Windows on Arm ecosystem with DLSS, Reflex and ray tracing.

What changes in practice?

Users can install PAIR (beta/official) and leverage home PCs for faster AI tasks. RTX Spark owners get more games and optimized models (Nemotron, Qwen etc.). NVIDIA also optimized llama.cpp and vLLM for up to 1.9x faster local inference.
