Square Enix is releasing Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] on October 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2. The bundle gathers three known compilations: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind. The three titles can also be bought separately.
The original announcement, reported by Gematsu in June, frames the set as the Dark Seeker Saga: from Destiny Islands to the final clash between light and darkness, including the Disney and Pixar worlds of Kingdom Hearts III and the Re Mind content. A demo of Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind is already available on the Switch 2 Nintendo eShop.
What changes on Switch 2
On Switch, the series had mainly circulated as cloud versions. Nintendo Life notes that those cloud editions are no longer on sale and that the native digital release is set for October 8. The store lists the collection on Switch 2 at US$74.99 in the United States and £64.99 in the United Kingdom. The platform page also points to a physical Game-Key Card edition.
Players who already own every cloud title individually, or Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud, are eligible for a 50% discount on the native Switch 2 versions and the collection, according to store text reproduced by Nintendo Life and Digital Foundry. The purchase includes the platform-exclusive Keyblade Long Night.
PS5, Xbox and PC
On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, the collection arrives the same day. Gematsu also reported that, alongside the launch, the three compilations become available on the Microsoft Store for PC, in addition to existing Steam and Epic Games Store versions of the earlier games. A native Switch release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX shares the launch window.
In practice, the pack is the most direct way to play the main saga without cloud streaming on Nintendo's console and without assembling the library piece by piece on PS5 or Xbox. The US$74.99 Switch 2 collection price cited by Nintendo Life sits above a standard US$70 game, but it covers three compilations and the Re Mind DLC.
