Tekken 8 Yujiro Hanma received its first real 3D model look on Sunday (October 11, 2026), when Bandai Namco showed the character during EVO France. Known as “the strongest creature on Earth” in the Baki series, he is the final Season 3 DLC and arrives in early 2027.
What was shown
At the end of the Roger Jr. gameplay trailer (releasing November 17, with early access on the 12th), a short teaser of Yujiro’s model appears. The character is shown in his iconic split pose between chairs, with the exaggerated musculature, the “Demon Back,” and the characteristic smile from Keisuke Itagaki’s manga recreated in Unreal Engine 5. Fans praised the visual fidelity.
Bandai Namco announced that the full Yujiro Hanma trailer will be revealed on January 17, 2027, during the Tekken World Tour 2026 Global Finals in Singapore. Until then, there are no moveset details or exact release date.
Season 3 context
Yujiro Hanma was announced in May 2026 at Combo Breaker. Season 3 includes Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr. The Baki crossover generates high expectations in the fighting game and anime communities, especially because the character is famous for never losing a fight in the manga.
Tekken 8 is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Sources: Famitsu, Inven Global, and Bandai Namco’s announcement at EVO France.
