Fullbright's Springs, Eternal arrives on Steam on November 11

Springs, Eternal, the first-person narrative exploration game from Fullbright, arrives on Steam on November 11. Publisher Serenity Forge and the developer announced the date, according to Gematsu. A demo is already available.

The game is set at Stillwater Springs, an isolated hot-springs retreat visited at night. The lo-fi look uses pixels and dithering that recall late-1990s PCs and consoles. The campaign is short, estimated at two to three hours, with dark paths, more than a dozen characters, and flashbacks to a romantic relationship that brought the protagonist there.

Fullbright describes the game as a supernatural-tinged exploration in which the map grows as the player finds pools, caverns, and other corners of the retreat. Branching dialogue ties the guests' stories to the character's memory. The tone follows Gone Home and Tacoma, the studio's earlier works, also released with Serenity Forge. It is the third collaboration between the two companies.

The project had been announced for November without a fixed day. The confirmation of November 11, with a demo and a new trailer, is what changes now. The Steam page lists the game as app 3677850.
