Shin chan Switch 2: Me and the Professor and Shiro and the Coal Town versions arrive March 4, 2027

Shin chan Switch 2 receives updated versions. Neos has announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Shin chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation – The Endless Seven-Day Journey and Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town will arrive on March 4, 2027 worldwide.

The games receive technical upgrades: mouse controller support (Joy-Con 2), 60 frames per second, higher resolution, independent selection of text and audio languages, and the ability to save at any point in the game.

There will be a physical “Double Pack” with both titles on a single cartridge. In Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia pre-orders are already open for 9,900 yen, with stickers in the first print run. In the Americas and Europe distribution is handled by Clear River Games and reservations open on October 13, including a reversible cover and booklet. Digital versions will be available individually or as a bundle, with a discount for owners of the original Switch versions.

The original games previously launched for Switch, PC (Steam/Epic) and mobile via Crunchyroll Game Vault. They are relaxed summer adventures starring the famous 5-year-old boy, mixing exploration, collecting and mystery elements.

Why does this matter?

For anime and Shin-chan fans, the Switch 2 versions bring the experience updated for Nintendo’s new console generation, with better performance and modern controls. The single physical pack makes collecting and portability easier.
