Edia has set a date for Psikyo Memories: the collection of 12 Psikyo arcade shoot ’em ups arrives on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The announcement was posted on PR Times and reported by Gematsu. In the catalog handed out at Tokyo Game Show 2026, the company had already said games planned for 2027 and beyond would launch worldwide at the same time.
In Japan, the standard physical edition and the digital version cost 6,800 yen, or 7,480 yen with tax. The physical special edition is 14,800 yen, 16,280 with tax, and includes the game, 12 dog tags, an illustration booklet, and a tabletop calendar. The Switch 2 version will ship on a game-key card.
What is in the collection
The confirmed list brings together titles that defined Japanese arcades in the 1990s:
- Dragon Blaze
- Gunbarich
- Gunbird and Gunbird 2
- Samurai Aces, Tengai (Samurai Aces II), and Samurai Aces III: Sengoku Cannon
- Sol Divide
- Strikers 1945, Strikers 1945 II, and Strikers 1999
- Zero Gunner 2
Psikyo was known for fast shmups, dense bullet patterns, and settings that mixed fantasy, samurai, and Second World War aviation. Some of these games have already appeared in earlier collections and ports; Psikyo Memories is Edia’s bid to gather them again on PS5 and Switch 2.
What is still open
Gematsu notes that Strikers 1945 was playable on PC at the TGS booth, but PC is not listed as a release platform. Prices outside Japan were not detailed in this announcement. The official collection site is edia-game.com/psikyo.
