NVIDIA RTX Spark Arrives on Windows PCs with Local AI and Gaming Support from EA and Ubisoft

What happened?

NVIDIA RTX Spark has officially arrived on the first Windows PCs. Laptops have been available since October 16, 2026 from partners including ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI, starting at around $2,599. The NVIDIA RTX Spark platform combines a Blackwell RTX GPU (up to 6,144 CUDA cores) with a Grace CPU of up to 20 cores (developed with MediaTek), up to 128 GB of unified memory and up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance.

In addition to tools for local AI agents — such as improved support for GitHub Copilot, Hermes, OpenClaw, Perplexity and the NVIDIA PAIR (Personal AI Router) — NVIDIA announced support for hundreds of games, including titles from EA, Embark Studios and Ubisoft, plus Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, Gears of War: E-Day and NBA 2K27 with DLSS 5. The Arm architecture with Windows 11 on Arm allows these thin and light devices to offer the full stack of RTX technologies.

Why does this matter?

NVIDIA RTX Spark represents an important step for local AI on mainstream Windows PCs. Instead of relying exclusively on the cloud, users can run large models and agents directly on the device, with better privacy and lower latency. Unified memory allows loading models that do not fit in the VRAM of traditional discrete GPUs, opening possibilities for developers who previously needed specialized hardware or expensive cloud services.

At the same time, the platform brings the full RTX technology stack (ray tracing, DLSS, Reflex, G-SYNC) to thin and light Arm-based laptops, expanding the audience that can enjoy advanced gaming and creation features without a dedicated desktop. This marks a convergence between personal AI computing and high-performance entertainment.

What changes in practice?

For developers and AI enthusiasts, setting up local agents becomes simpler, with optimizations in llama.cpp and vLLM delivering up to 1.9x faster inference. Models such as Nemotron 3.5 can run locally, and native CUDA support facilitates migration of existing workflows.

For gamers, anti-cheat support (including Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye) and AAA titles mean the same notebook used for development or creation can also be used for high-quality gaming, including features such as DLSS 5 and Multi Frame Generation. Compact NVIDIA RTX Spark desktops are expected in November, ideal for always-on agents.

NVIDIA positions the platform as the start of a new era of Windows PCs that combine creation, gaming and personal AI in a single portable device. Official NVIDIA and partner sources confirm global availability from mid-October 2026.
