NVIDIA held a press event on Thursday, November 6, 2026, for the RTX Spark platform at the JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. The presentation reinforced the focus on local AI, content creation and gaming in a single Windows PC.
What happened?
Jeff Yen, NVIDIA's Asia-Pacific Technical Marketing Director, detailed the RTX Spark architecture. The platform combines a superchip with a Blackwell RTX GPU and a Grace CPU (developed with MediaTek) in a single package. The CPU can have up to 20 cores, and the GPU and CPU share data via the NVLink-C2C interface.
This enables up to 128 GB of unified memory and up to 1 petaflop of AI performance at FP4 precision. The goal is to eliminate the memory constraints that made running large AI models on conventional PCs difficult, allowing the CPU and GPU to use the same memory pool for different tasks.
Demonstrations and collaborations
The event showed demos in three areas: AI agents (such as Chief of Staff for schedules and Microduck for development), content creation (Video Producer Agent and Music Performance Reimagined) and gaming (NBA 2K27 and AION 2 with DLSS 5). Attendees could test laptops from partners including Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, ASUS ProArt P16, MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ and Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n.
On memory, NVIDIA reaffirmed continued collaboration with Samsung Electronics and SK hynix for low-power LPDDR, but did not reveal specific RTX Spark suppliers. Yen stated that the product is premium, aimed at enthusiasts and developers, with global prices starting at $2,599.
Why this matters
RTX Spark represents NVIDIA's bet on local (on-device) AI in thin and light Windows PCs, combining personal supercomputer capabilities with RTX graphics and gaming support via DLSS 5. The up to 128 GB unified memory is the main differentiator for running large models without relying on the cloud.
The platform has been on sale in Korea since October 16 and globally through partners such as ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI. The Seoul event served to demonstrate real-world use cases and reinforce collaboration with the South Korean memory industry.
What changes in practice
For developers and creators, RTX Spark offers a machine capable of running AI agents, video production and AAA games at 1440p with high performance in a single portable device. NVIDIA claims that 97 of the top 100 popular games are playable on the platform. The premium price limits initial adoption to advanced users.
