Apple today announced the new Apple TV 4K with Siri AI, the biggest refresh of the company's streaming box in four years. The highlight is the arrival of Siri AI — the conversational, personal-context version of the assistant powered by the next generation of Apple Intelligence — straight into the living room.
What's new in the Apple TV 4K with Siri AI
The device features the A19 chip (the same as the iPhone 17 lineup), delivering up to 50% faster CPU performance and twice the GPU performance compared with the previous A15 model. This means smoother navigation, snappier animations and more efficient native AV1 decoding on the Apple TV 4K Siri AI.
Three built-in far-field microphones let users control the device and ask Siri AI questions completely hands-free, without needing the remote or a nearby HomePod. Advanced echo cancellation isolates the voice even while audio is playing. Responses appear in a compact overlay so they don't interrupt what you're watching.
For the first time you can create a four-speaker surround setup: Apple TV 4K + four HomePod mini 2 speakers (or matched pairs of HomePod 2 and mini 2). The system automatically calibrates position, timing and volume.
Smarter remote and ecosystem
The new Siri Remote keeps its familiar design but adds Find My support with Precision Finding and a built-in speaker that plays a sound to help locate it. It remains compatible with older models and can be purchased separately.
As a smart home hub, the Apple TV 4K now generates Apple Intelligence camera activity descriptions and summarized notifications, plus voice control of accessories and scenes. Siri AI can also tap into personal context from a paired iPhone or iPad (e.g. “Play the show Alinda recommended”).
Siri AI arrives in beta and at launch will be available in English in the US, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and the UK. Previous models (2nd and 3rd generation) will also receive the feature via tvOS 27.2.
Price and availability of Apple TV 4K Siri AI
The new Apple TV 4K costs $299 (or roughly $49.83 per month over six months in the US). Pre-orders are open now on apple.com and in the Apple Store app; the device reaches stores on November 13 in 30 countries and regions. Apple highlights recycled materials and its 2030 carbon-neutral goal.
