No Man's Sky iOS: full game arrives on iPhone and iPad on October 28

Hello Games has announced that No Man's Sky iOS will arrive on iPhone and iPad on October 28, 2026. The mobile version includes nearly all content from the updates released over the past ten years, from Foundation to the recent Cosmos.

What changes in the No Man's Sky iOS version

The game runs on iPhone 11 or newer and iPad Air (3rd generation) or newer. The download is around 5 GB. It features redesigned touch controls, physical controller support, and on iPad also mouse and keyboard. TV casting is available. Hello Games highlights work on battery life and thermals for long sessions.

Multiplayer and settlements will not be available at the No Man's Sky iOS launch. Settlements require iPhone 15 Pro or higher in future versions, depending on performance and player base.

Why it matters

No Man's Sky went from a troubled 2016 launch to one of the industry's best examples of continuous support. Bringing the full procedural universe to mobile devices from 2019 onward shows how far procedural generation and optimization technology has evolved. The version is part of Apple's Indie Games Week.

Pre-orders are already open on the App Store. The beginning of the game is free to try; the rest is a one-time purchase. There is still no confirmation of an Android version. More details in the official Hello Games announcement.
