LINE Games has announced it will take part in WePlay Expo 2026 in Shanghai, China, for the first time, with five new playable PC games at the company's booth. The festival, which celebrates its 10th anniversary, runs November 21–22 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.
At the center of the showcase are two titles developed in-house by LINE Games: Ember and Blade, a premium survivors-like game with fast-paced action, and QUIET, a co-op comedy horror title. Visitors will be able to try demos of both games in dedicated hands-on spaces at the booth.
Ember and Blade and QUIET lead the lineup
Ember and Blade, a dark fantasy action roguelite, enters Early Access on January 8, 2027 on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Players control Fenrix, a warrior cursed with immortality, in battle against the demon hordes of the archdemon Asmodeus. PlayStation 5 and Xbox versions are also in preparation.
QUIET, meanwhile, is a co-op comedy horror game for up to 4 players, in which alien ducks that crash-landed on Earth must escape without being caught by the homeowner. The official demo arrived on Steam and the Epic Games Store on October 22, and the launch is planned for the first half of 2027.
The five games and the booth
Beyond the two headliners, the playable lineup includes CODE EXIT, a co-op sci-fi horror game; Amazing Slot Survivor, a roguelike survival title; and COME TO MY PARTY!, a dark comedy visual novel. The booth will also host interactive events for attendees.
“We are delighted to make our debut at WePlay Expo, a global indie game festival,” said a LINE Games representative. “We will use this opportunity to build even greater global anticipation for our new PC and console titles, including Ember and Blade and QUIET.”
WePlay Expo 2026 is one of Asia's leading indie game festivals, reaching its 10th anniversary with studios and players from around the world. The Shanghai edition marks LINE Games' first participation in the event — WePlay Expo will also hold an edition in Japan in 2027, April 2–4 at Makuhari Messe.
Both headliners already arrive with momentum: the QUIET demo includes one official stage plus the “Duck Out” arcade mode for up to 4 players, and it topped the Steam Scream Fest demo chart in under 24 hours. Ember and Blade, meanwhile, led the Epic Games Store demo chart in October 2025 and ranked high across major Steam Next Fest categories.
