The virtual group K/DA has released the FIRESTARTER EP, marking its return after about six years. Formed by League of Legends champions Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai'Sa, the K/DA FIRESTARTER is now available on major streaming platforms.
What happened with K/DA FIRESTARTER?
Following the FIRESTARTER single (released on October 18 with a music video by Fortiche, the Arcane studio), the full K/DA FIRESTARTER EP arrived on October 21. The tracklist includes:
- FIRESTARTER – MIYEON and SOYEON (i-dle), Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb
- WATCH ME – Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb
- NEVER GOING BACK – MIYEON and SOYEON (i-dle)
- GIRLS (with DJ Sona) – Sophie Powers, Sorana and Royal & The Serpent
MIYEON and SOYEON return as Ahri and Akali in K/DA FIRESTARTER, roles they have held since POP/STARS in 2018. Sophie Powers takes on Evelynn and Mimi Webb, Kai'Sa. The FIRESTARTER music video reached 9.2 million views in its first 24 hours.
What does K/DA FIRESTARTER mean?
The K/DA FIRESTARTER return marks the group’s first major original music since the ALL OUT EP in 2020. K/DA will perform alongside True Damage at the Worlds 2026 Opening Ceremony on November 14 at Barclays Center in New York. Physical editions of K/DA FIRESTARTER (CD and vinyl) are already available for pre-order via Riot Games Music.
The move strengthens Riot’s strategy of blending games and virtual music with K/DA FIRESTARTER, bringing back one of the most iconic projects at the intersection of League of Legends and K-pop.
