Higgsfield GPT-6 Astra: AI videos over 10 minutes with OpenAI orchestration

Higgsfield GPT-6 Astra now allows generating AI videos longer than 10 minutes — a significant jump from the previous limit of around one minute.

According to CEO and co-founder Alex Mashrabov, Higgsfield's creative agents now use Astra to orchestrate repetitive tasks and call external tools, including 3D modeling, which helps maintain consistency in longer productions. The company demonstrates the capability on its own YouTube channel, where it produces instructional videos.

What changes in practice with Higgsfield GPT-6 Astra?

In addition to length, Higgsfield highlights GPT-Image-2.5 for more precise visuals and points to GPT-Live as a future path for voice-based filmmaking. OpenAI published the case as an example of how smaller creator teams can execute more ambitious campaigns with these models.

Higgsfield, founded in 2023 by a former Snap executive, recently reported more than 32 million users and nearly 1 million paying subscribers, with an annualized revenue of $1 billion.

Context

The announcement does not detail technical benchmarks, pricing, or general availability of the long-video features. The focus is on orchestration via Astra for coordinated production, not on a new standalone video generation model.
