GPT-6 Intelligent UI arrives on ChatGPT for all users with interactive responses

GPT-6 Intelligent UI has officially arrived for all ChatGPT users. OpenAI announced the expansion of the GPT-6 model, bringing the ability to generate complete interactive interfaces instead of text-only answers.

What happened?

On October 7, 2026, OpenAI began the rollout of GPT-6 Sol to paid plans (Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise) and GPT-6 Luna to Free and Go the next day. GPT-6 Intelligent UI uses a library of native components and a compiler that assembles the interface progressively while the model thinks and responds. This includes charts, clickable buttons, forms, maps and even mini-tools like calculators or bill splitters.

Why does this matter?

GPT-6 Intelligent UI represents a significant shift in interaction with artificial intelligence. Instead of long texts, users receive visual and interactive experiences that make learning complex topics easier. OpenAI reported that the model starts answering 44% faster on queries requiring web search compared to GPT-5.6 Instant. Additionally, it can interleave reasoning with response generation.

What changes in practice?

In practice, asking for a Sunday dinner plan results in an interactive checklist with quantities that adjust to the number of guests, dish images and buttons to copy the shopping list. An explanation of how a 7-speed bicycle works becomes a diagram with clickable tabs for frame, wheels, drivetrain, brakes and cockpit. The feature is available in the Chat tab on the website and updated mobile apps. Old desktop app versions do not yet support GPT-6 Intelligent UI.
