Toho released today, October 11, the final Godzilla Minus Zero trailer, the long-awaited sequel to Godzilla Minus One, the film that won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects.
The new trailer, partially presented during New York Comic Con 2026, focuses on King Ghidorah's actions, with its gravity beams destroying airborne structures, and Godzilla's atomic breath. The human team returns to "fight fire with fire" against the new threat.
Set in 1949, two years after the events of the previous film, the story follows Japan trying to rebuild when a new disaster emerges. Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe reprise their roles as Koichi and Noriko, with Takashi Yamazaki once again directing, writing, and handling VFX.
The film premieres in Japan on November 3, 2026, and in North America on November 6 via GKIDS, with early IMAX screenings. It is the first Japanese production filmed for IMAX.
