Epic Seven Steam launches on October 29, 2026. Smilegate confirmed the date on the game's hub and opened a demo for Steam Next Fest, available from October 8 through October 26. The turn-based RPG, developed by Super Creative, has passed 20 million players since its 2018 mobile debut. Epic Seven Steam puts the title on Valve's store, beyond the proprietary client.
What happened?
The PC version is not a first appearance: the game already ran on Smilegate's own STOVE client. What Epic Seven Steam adds is Valve's store and a fresh server called Foundry, opening the same day. It will be reachable from Steam, STOVE and mobile. Existing accounts can use current data on Steam without starting over.
The demo includes parts of the main story and combat modes such as Brawl, God of Battle's Colosseum and Automaton Tower. Demo progress does not transfer to the full game. The Steam page lists an October 29 release and names Smilegate as the developer. The official notice ran on October 7.
Why it matters
Epic Seven is one of the longest-running Korean gacha games, known for its playable-anime look and arena PvP. Epic Seven Steam widens the PC audience beyond the proprietary client and puts the title next to other live services that use Valve's store as a storefront, not only a launcher. On the October calendar it sits alongside console launches such as Order of the Sinking Star.
Foundry comes with launch events: a 30% experience bonus, 20 free summons a day and the hero Luna for players who reach account rank 70. Login and arena rewards are also planned. Those figures were detailed in the official notice and in coverage such as Noisy Pixel.
