The NieR Automata collection arrived in Dead by Daylight on October 6, 2026. Behaviour Interactive put three paid looks in the in-game shop: 2B and A2 as legendary outfits, and Emil as a very rare look for the killer The Legion. The NieR Automata collection is not a new chapter with a map or a new playable character. It is a cosmetics pack.
What entered the Fog
2B becomes a legendary outfit for survivor Feng Min. A2 becomes a legendary outfit for Yui Kimura. On the killer side, The Legion gets a very rare look inspired by Emil, including the character's unsettling grin. According to Final Weapon, legendary status includes unique music, voice lines, HUD icons and menu idle animations. The collection also includes an appearance by Pod 042 and two legendary portraits of 2B and A2.
Dave Richard, creative director of Dead by Daylight, said in the announcement that NieR Automata leaves a mark on anyone who plays it and that the two universes share cycles of violence and suffering. The line is in the press release carried by Anime News Network.
Where to play and what comes next
The looks are on PC via Steam, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, using the game's cross-save and cross-play. Dead by Daylight remains available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and PC. The exact pack price was not highlighted in the announcements reviewed; the purchase is made in the in-game shop.
The collection opens Behaviour's October calendar. The Haunted by Daylight event starts on October 13 and runs for three weeks. Reports from the same content cycle also point to a Diablo collection on October 20. NieR Automata had already crossed over with Overwatch, The First Descendant and Stellar Blade.
