Netflix and studio TRIGGER revealed this Wednesday (14) a new visual of Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2, the standalone sequel to the hit anime. The 10-episode series premieres on October 20, 2026 exclusively on Netflix.

According to the announcement shared by Netflix Geeked, the visual of Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 features the central crew of Roman, D, Weak and Talia, along with supporting characters. Directed by Kai Ikarashi (animator of Little Witch Academia) at TRIGGER, with series composition by Masahiko Otsuka (Promare), designs by Ichigo Kanno and music by Tsuneo Imahori (Trigun).
The synopsis of Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 describes Weak, a washed-up cyberpunk legend forced to live without implants, searching for purpose, while the nomad D seeks revenge that brings him close to forbidden corporate secrets. The story explores family, obsession and legacy in Night City.
