The Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle is now on shelves at participating US retailers. Nintendo of America said on October 4 that the pack includes the console, a full download of Mario Kart World and a three-month individual Nintendo Switch Online membership.
On the official retail-offers page, the suggested price is $549.99. Nintendo calculates a saving of $37.98 against buying the console, the game and the membership separately, based on manufacturer suggested retail price. Actual savings may vary, and the offer lasts while supplies last.
The included game is the digital version. The three-month membership auto-renews at the then-current price unless canceled. Nintendo notes that the benefit is not available in every country and that online features require internet access.
What changed since launch
This availability note is not the original announcement. On August 25, Gematsu reported that Nintendo had set the pack for late September at $549.99, after the Switch 2 suggested price rose to $499.99 on September 1. This week's news is that the product has reached shelves and the offers page.
The Switch 2 launch bundle in June 2025 also paired the console with Mario Kart World, but it sold for $499.99 and did not include Nintendo Switch Online. The comparison is therefore not direct: the current pack costs more and adds the three-month membership.
The next pack already has a date
On the same page, Nintendo lists the Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort bundle for October 22, 2026, at $529.99. That set also includes a game download and three months of Nintendo Switch Online. The listed saving there is $27.98 versus buying separately, although another line on the page cites $37.98. Until Nintendo standardizes the figure, the difference is a detail to check with the retailer.
The US page does not confirm a price or date for Brazil. Anyone following the local market should treat $549.99 as a United States reference, not a national price.
