BGS 2026 opens this Friday, October 9, at Distrito Anhembi in northern São Paulo and runs through Monday, October 12. Organizers and local coverage treat Brasil Game Show as Latin America's largest games fair, with playable demos, talks, esports tournaments and a business area for industry professionals.
What happened?
According to the BGS support center, general admission starts at 1 p.m. on Friday and at noon on the other days. Doors close at 9 p.m. every day. The BGS Conference runs Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Press credentials and Premium, Business and Camarote tickets get early entry from 11 a.m. on October 9.
Olhar Digital reported on October 8 that BGS 2026 tickets were in the ninth batch: Friday is Premium only (R$ 423 half price and R$ 886 full), Saturday and Sunday are R$ 224/R$ 448, and Monday is R$ 179/R$ 358. Prices can change with each batch; Saturday was reportedly close to selling out. Half price covers students, seniors, people with disabilities and a solidarity option with a 1 kg non-perishable food donation, under event rules.
Who is at the show
Brands cited by Olhar Digital include Nintendo, SEGA, Square Enix, Devolver Digital, Team Liquid, Alienware, PCYES and Ragnarok: Yggdrasil, plus KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency) and space for independents. PlayStation and Xbox have not announced their own booths this year, according to the same report.
Confirmed international guests include Al Hope and Archie Whitehead, creative director and lead environment artist on Alien: Isolation 2; Kenji Kanno, a producer linked to Crazy Taxi; and Shota Nakama of the Video Game Orchestra. The schedule also includes cosplay, creator meetups and playable new releases. Geekiki already covered the same October window with the Kingdom Hearts Collection launch.
In practice
Anhembi parking has more than 4,700 spaces. Distrito Anhembi listed R$ 90 for cars and R$ 50 for motorcycles for a 12-hour period, according to Olhar Digital. Friday general admission requires a Premium ticket. The official site is brasilgameshow.com.br.
