Battlefield 6 arrived on Xbox Game Pass on October 13, 2026, available to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and via cloud. The launch coincides with the start of the game's Season 5.
What happened?
Microsoft announced the addition of Battlefield 6 as part of the October Game Pass wave. Battlefield 6, originally released about a year ago, enters the service alongside other day titles such as Valor Mortis and Deep Dish Dungeon. Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers have access because those plans include basic EA Play.
With EA Play, players can claim the EA Play Deployment Pack, the Season 5 EA Play Pack, and recurring seasonal rewards, plus 10% off eligible EA digital purchases. Season 5 brings new maps, including one inspired by Las Vegas and another by Area 51, as well as weapons and vehicles.
Why it matters
The arrival of Battlefield 6 on Game Pass offers an accessible way to play one of last year's most popular multiplayer shooters, especially ahead of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Source: Xbox Wire and Microsoft and EA announcements.
