NVIDIA announced NVIDIA SimReady Central, a free and open library with more than 2,000 simulation-ready OpenUSD 3D assets, hosted on Hugging Face. The tool is aimed at robotics and AI factory digital twin developers.
What is NVIDIA SimReady Central?
SimReady defines 3D assets that already include the physical properties needed for simulation, such as collision geometry, mass, friction, articulations, and semantic labels. This allows models to be used directly in environments like NVIDIA Isaac Sim without extensive manual preparation.
The library brings together robotic arms, grippers, warehouse equipment, racks, and cooling infrastructure from manufacturers such as FANUC, Franka Robotics, Universal Robots, Robotiq, Vertiv, and LG Electronics. Developers can search in natural language and combine assets from different suppliers into single scenes. More details in the announcement from NVIDIA Omniverse.
Why does NVIDIA SimReady Central matter?
Preparing 3D assets for robotics simulation and digital twins is usually time-consuming. With NVIDIA SimReady Central, development teams and OEMs can accelerate the training of physical AI models and the validation of equipment before real-world deployment.
The initiative is part of the NVIDIA Omniverse and OpenUSD ecosystem and includes tools for contributing new assets. The launch was covered by outlets such as Unite.AI.
For those working with robotics, industrial simulation, or AI factories, NVIDIA SimReady Central offers a free and validated starting point.
