Microsoft has announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Game Pass arrives on October 29 in the second wave of Xbox Game Pass games for 2026, available for Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers.
What is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade?
Originally released in 2020, Final Fantasy VII Remake reimagines the opening of the classic 1997 RPG, following Cloud Strife and his allies fighting against Shinra in Midgar. The Intergrade version includes visual improvements and the Intermission episode, centered on ninja Yuffie Kisaragi.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be available on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Game Pass, allowing players to experience the story up to the escape from Midgar with a hybrid combat system that blends real-time action and strategic commands.
Other games in the second wave
Besides Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Game Pass, the list includes Sandustry (Game Preview) on October 21, Dodo Duckie on the 22nd, Scramble Knights Online on the 26th, The Séance of Blake Manor on the 27th, and on the 29th also Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and Terrible Lizards. Pit of Goblin arrives on November 3.
This addition of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade to Game Pass is particularly significant for Xbox fans, as the Remake only arrived on Microsoft platforms in 2026 and is now accessible via subscription.
