What happened?
Bandai Namco and Dimps launched today, October 27, 2026, the free 10th anniversary update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The patch brings Login Bonus Rewards, Special Costumes, and an update to the Gallery of Time, unlockable with the Future Saga Chapter 4 DLC.
The highlight is the Final Festival of Universes, starting October 30. During the event, players can raise their camaraderie level with Trunks, Supreme Kai of Time, or Fu to unlock special illustrations. Rare items return, and there is a 25x Star Coins bonus.
Participating also grants a new Gi and a commemorative medal, which unlock special items in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 (planned for 2027) by linking the Bandai Namco ID.
Why is this important?
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, launched in 2016, remains relevant a decade later. The update serves as a bridge to the successor, rewarding long-time fans and preparing the transition to Xenoverse 3.
What changes in practice?
Active players gain immediate rewards and items that carry over to the next game. It is a way to keep the community engaged until the 2027 launch. The game is available on PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
