Capcom has revealed Cook Man, the fourth Robot Master in Mega Man: Dual Override, the next mainline game in the series arriving in 2027 to mark the franchise's 40th anniversary.
What we know about Cook Man
Cook Man is officially described as a wandering chef seeking recognition for his culinary prowess. He faces Mega Man and Proto Man with a "Kung Fu Cooking" style, ready to slice and dice the heroes in Mega Man Dual Override.
He joins Tank Man (recently revealed), Twinkle Girl and Jet Man. Capcom has been gradually revealing the Robot Masters, with eight expected in total in Mega Man: Dual Override.
Mega Man: Dual Override lets you play as Mega Man or Proto Man, each with a different combat style. The game features the Override system, which temporarily boosts power, and Custom Chips to modify abilities before stages. Stages are divided into three areas.
Why it matters
The game is the first mainline entry since Mega Man 11 (2018) and celebrates 40 years. Including Proto Man as a playable character answers fan requests, while the new mechanics aim to balance accessibility and challenge in Mega Man Dual Override.
