Apex Legends is getting a major Godzilla crossover. The official event starts on November 10, 2026, and runs until December 1, turning Storm Point into a kaiju attack zone. The Apex Legends Godzilla event brings exclusive cosmetics and temporary mechanics to the battle royale.
What happened?
According to the official EA and Respawn announcement, Godzilla invades the Outlands and claims Storm Point. Players cannot defeat the monster — they can only survive. The map gains destroyed areas, burnt trees and damaged buildings while Godzilla looms overhead.
In blast zones, before the Heat Ray strikes, a Care Package appears with a custom Devotion that fires a tracking heat ray. The event celebrates the theatrical release of Godzilla Minus Zero, directed by Takashi Yamazaki.
Why does this matter?
Apex Legends crossovers typically bring exclusive cosmetics and temporary modes. This is one of the biggest, with 10 Legend skins inspired by Godzilla franchise monsters (including Godzilla 2026, Mothra, Mechagodzilla, Ghidorah and more), 9 legendary weapon skins and the new Dorsal Dagger universal melee inspired by Godzilla’s dorsal fins.
There is a free Event Pass with the Octane Epic skin (Jet Jaguar) and a Premium Track for 950 Apex Coins with extra rewards such as the Catalyst Iconic skin (Ghidorah 1991) and the Gravity Beam Prowler. The Apex Legends Godzilla event strengthens the connection to Japanese pop culture.
What changes in practice?
The event runs in Wildcard mode on Storm Point. Players can chase the special Care Package to equip the Heat Ray Devotion. Twitch Drops will be available from November 10–17 for themed charms and trackers.
The game remains free on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch 2 and PC. The Toho partnership brings Godzilla’s look and atmosphere straight into matches.
